Functions

Send SMS

Send a professional looking text message from any number you own (set up in your Twilio account). You don't have to know your recipient's carrier; just their number.

Receive SMS

Receive text message responses in FileMaker via BrilliantFlows (via the Data API or message polling).

Messages are not sent instantaneously, but are queued by Twilio. Specify a Status Callback URL in your send request, and Twilio can POST each time your message status changes to one of the following: queued, failed, sent, delivered, or undelivered. Requires a FileMaker user with access to find and write message data. In this example file, see the "api.twilio" account and the MessagingMessages table. This entire process typically happens in just a few seconds.
